I studied photography in Rome, Italy, back in the old days of film. I’m also a PADI qualified Digital Underwater Photography Instructor, but I’m not too keen on English waters to tell you the truth.

I have been travelling and shooting over and under sea level: the US, Thailand, Australia, Bali, Canary Islands, Zanzibar… until I permanently moved back to London in 2009. These days I’m a London based freelance photographer specializing in live music, portraits, DSLR tuition and photography tours.

I have shot music events of all genres and levels since 2000, from the likes of The Libertines, Metallica, Westlife and Kiss to emerging talent and local pub bands; my Festival experience includes Reading, Download, Sonisphere, several high profile Hyde Park events,  Camden Crawl and Camden Rocks amongst others.

Since 2010 I have been hosting DSLR crash courses, workshops and tours for beginners and enthusiasts, handling groups of up to 14 people. I have a hands-on approach and keep my lessons jargon-free, making it possible for everyone to get to grips with their camera's manual settings and using it to its full potential.

EQUIPMENT:

I use a Nikon D7000 and Nikon D90, Tamron 18-55 f2.8, Sigma 70-200 f2.8, Sigma 10-20 F4-5.6, Sigma 18-200 3.5/6.3, Tokina 24-70 2.8-5.6,  Nikon 50mm 1.8, Nikon Speedlight SB-800, Giotto tripod.
